Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN is the founder and sole financier of the Yusuf Olaolu Ali Foundation. He is an attorney of about 40 years standing. Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN, attained the highest distinction of legal practice in Nigeria in 1997 when he became a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. He is the Principal Partner of the Yusuf Ali & Co. (Ghalib Chambers), a leading law firm in Nigeria and an iconic legal practitioner, who is renowned and respected across Nigeria and beyond its shores. Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali has delivered more than two hundred papers on diverse subjects and topics at various fora within and outside Nigeria. He has published more than forty articles in learned journals within and outside Nigeria. He had contributed more than twenty chapters in books. He is the author of a book titled “An Anatomy of Corruption in Nigeria; Issues, Challenges, and Solution”.
Passionate about philanthropy, Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali SAN founded YUSUF OLAOLU ALI FOUNDATION in 2009. He holds dear the old saying that “indeed there is a due share in our wealth for the one who is denied and one who requests”. The founder believes that invariably, the government alone cannot actualise the needs and wants of the masses, private individuals must contribute positively to society.
